Thing #9: (again). I did enjoy the Flickr thing. I had created a Flickr account and remember while in there I viewed some slides I found on Alaska. I will be traveling there in July of this year. I venture into google alot and find slide shows or audio clips to view. This is an enjoyable way of learning and seeing.
Thing #9: I have created a Delicious account and have imported some of my old bookmarks. I use "My favorites" to do many of these same things. This could be a very useful tool.

I'm fairly certain I did Thing #9 several days ago. I must have forgotten to post a comment.

Thing # 23

I believe the YouTube and podcasts caught my interest more than some of the others. Only because i have used other methods to do most of those things.

It's never to late to learn 'something'. I'm 65.

There were some of the programs I felt were hard to follow. To many sign-up's for accounts. Some I may never use and now I'm not sure how to get rid of them.

I knew most of these 'things' were out there but never took the time to use them.

Yes, I would participate if something like this was offered again. I am anxious to practice with some of the tools you introduced me to.

Thank you
Thing # 22

I will be checking into buying an ipod. I am also interested in listening/downloading audio books.
Thing # 21

I have signed up for a YouTube account. I'll play with that later.
Thing # 20

I searched and found lots of information on Alaska travel. I will be going there soon. This was most interesting to me.
Thing # 19

I created a document on Google.doc. I can see how it works. I use other means such as my hotmail account.
Thing # 18

I seemed to have trouble with this. I'm not sure I edited or created or moved anything.
Thing # 17

This was interesting. It would be a great way to plan family reunions etc. For librarians it would be a way to keep in touch with others and their ideas on fundraising etc.
Thing # 16

The age of new technology is here. A library needs to have and be able to use and teach the patrons what is out there for their use.
Thing #15

I had trouble getting an account. I didn't pursue it any further. I have done power point programs where I work. Do do have a general concept of what this will do for me.
Thing # 14

I signed up for a delicious account. I use my favorites to organize my special places that I use often. However, this could be a useful tool for teachers, or anyone doing research on many subjects.

Thing # 13: Twitter is much like a chat room. I created and use MSM's chat room. I keep in touch with my family this way. I can see where Twitter would be a useful tool for a librarian. One who is in position to keep up with the latest library gossip so to speak.

Thing #12: I think this would be a good way to keep track of the books I have read or listened to.
Thing # 11: I created a Voki. I'm not sure I would use this much. However, it is interesting to me just what you 'can' do with very little knowledge of technology. I'm speaking of myself.
Thing #10: I looked at and played with the learning tools. I created a card with tags and caption. I'm going to enjoy using the things I have learned here.
Thing #8: I have discovered flickr and uploaded
Thing #7: I have subscribed to Audio books and verified by e-mail of my subscription. This will be somthing I will probably use more than anything so far. I listen to books. Lots and Lots of books.
Thing #6: I have completed this exercise and have received a verifcation. I'm sure I'm going to enjoy this method of staying on top of things. I'm not much of a Tv watcher.
Thing #5: There was good information here. I have created a chat room on my own MSM account. I believe I know how to do this. I truly enjoy chatting with my family and friends.
Thing #3: I have created my blog .
Thing #4: I have registered my blog and have posted comments.
Thing #2: I have learned that I must accept responsibilities for my own learning. I also need to be more confident. AND...it's never to late or you are never to old to 'Learn'.
Thing #1: this should be a good learning experience
